用不用 to be?
Any vehicles found illegally parked within the closed areas will be towed away(禁區之內,所有違法停放的車輛將被拖走)。句中 found字之後,是不是應加 to be?
After"find+ object", to be suggests the result of a test or investigation。 斯旺舉了以下例子:( 1) Everybody found her very pleasant(人人都覺得她很友善)。( 2) The doctors found her to be perfectly fit(醫生發覺她身體十分好)。
請看第四版 Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English find字條下例句:( 1) I found the people to be charming and very friendly(我覺得那些人十分可愛、友善)。( 2) Both men were found guilty(兩人都被判有罪)。

A population consists of the four numbers 2, 4, 7, 9(某地人口有二、四、七、九這四個數字)。
例如:( 1) I answered the door(我應門)。( 2) Let's go to the zoo(我們去動物園吧)。
How do you spell the word"pencil"?( Pencil這個字怎麼拼?)當然,以下一句的 a可不能改為 the: Is there a word that begins with an"X"?(有沒有一個字是以 X開始的?)
You think God exists?""I always took it on faith."(「你相信有上帝嗎?」「我以前從不懷疑。」)
He was always happy, and he will always be remembered(他一生快快樂樂,並會永留我們心中)。
