(b) There are 8 cages in garden B. Each cage can keep 8type of animals and each type
has 8 animals. Use index notation to express to total number of animals in garden B.
Then find its value.
3. Divide $860 between Tom, Jack and Peter, so that Tom has $210 more than Jack, and
Jack has $40 more than Peter. How much does each get.
4. A and B are two consecutive numbers (B<A). Half of B exceeds one-fourth of A by 1.
Find the values of A and B.
